Deanna ReedRegent Deanna Reed is a
longtime benefactor and supporter of Carl Albert State College.
Deanna and her husband, Bob,
are longtime contributors to the Adopt-a-Scholar program and numerous other
scholarships. Reed is co-chair of the annual Holiday Gold Dust Gala, an event
that raises thousands of dollars for the college.
Reed is a key supporter of
the Miss CASC pageant. Each year, she lends her aid to various aspects of the
pageant and hosts the contestants for an elegant lunch at her home.
Reed serves on the LeFlore
County Literacy Council and was the first chair of the Southeastern Chapter of
the Red Cross. She is a member of the Poteau Classy Lions and was named Woman of
the Year in 1995 by the Business and Professional Women of Poteau.
This year, Deanna was
honored with Poteau’s Lifetime Contribution Award.
The Reeds have two children,
Robin and Robert Reed, and five grandchildren.
