ACT & COMPASS Testing Information

 

 

 

 

 

ACT Testing

CASC offers both ACT National testing and ACT Residual testing on advertised dates. ACT is offered as an admissions test to incoming freshman students who are ages 20 years and younger and to adult students who are a pre-health professional. ACT testing takes is fee-based.  (See test dates below)

@ACT Residual testing requires picture ID and $32.00 fee. ACT scores are used for admissions and placement purposes. Call 647-1304 (Poteau) or 775-6977 (Sallisaw) for date confirmation and testing times. Testing for the Poteau campus is at 1:00 pm. Please call and reserve your seat!

@National ACT testing requires application; students should contact their high school counselor for both application & fee payment. Test results may be sent to any college specified on the application. Students may visit the ACT website at www.actstudent.org.

COMPASS Testing

COMPASS exams are offered during regular business hours, without appointment, and free of charge. The COMPASS is offered to freshman students as a placement exam for those who test below 19 on the ACT subtest in a particular subject area and to adults as an alternate admissions test.
