One-Act Readings at CASC Sallisaw

SALLISAW – CASC Sallisaw proudly presents Love Letters and Spoon River Anthology, two one-act readings, to be presented in the J.T. and Mary Jo Stites Multi-Purpose Student Center at 7 p.m. on March 30.

This is the first production on the Sallisaw Campus in several years.

Bill Day, director and cast member for one of the plays, is very excited about the productions. He is attempting to recast the original 1969 Sallisaw High School cast of Spoon River Anthology.

Spoon River Anthology, written in 1915 by Edgar Lee Master, is a collection of epitaphs of residents of a small Illinois town. Love Letters is a Pulitzer Prize winning drama by A. R. Gurney which revolves around two characters who reminisce about their nearly 50 year relationship as shown through letters, cards, and notes.

Admission is $5 for the public and free to students with current CASC IDs.
