Enrollment at CASC
After meeting the CASC Admission requirements, enrollment at Carl Albert State College is a simple process and this site will guide you through some basic steps to course registration. With our online enrollment system you can browse course schedules and register in courses offered at our Poteau and Sallisaw campuses. Just follow these steps to enroll.
Step 1: Seek Advisement
Schedule a meeting with your Academic Advisor during the advisement period to review your degree plan and determine what courses you wish to take for the current semester. A schedule of enrollment and advisement dates can be found in the CASC Portal. Just follow the link to the portal, choose the Admissions tab, and locate the enrollment dates in the Quick Links section.
Step 2: Advisor Issues ID and PIN
Your Academic Advisor will provide you with your CASC User ID and PIN number. Sallisaw and McCurtain County students may contact their CASC representatives for ID and PIN numbers.
Step 3: Log in and Enroll
Provided there are no holds on your account, you will be able to log in to the CASC Portal and register for your classes online. Step 4: Visit the CASC Business Office
Visit the CASC Business Office located in Hemphill Hall for billing information.
Step 5: Visit the Financial Aid Office
If you are a Financial Aid Applicant, visit the Financial Aid Office in Hemphill Hall for advisement regarding available resources for paying for college. (Note: Apply Early)
Step 6: Obtain Books and Supplies
Visit the Viking Bookstore to obtain books and supplies for class.
Step 7: Attend Classes
Check the Admissions Site for dates for enrollment, first day class meetings, holidays, etc.
