Enrollment Information

New Students Enroll with Advisor

Students must first apply for admissions and submit all documents required to support enrollment into college-level classes. After application, new students are assigned a Faculty Advisor based on their major. Students are then asked to make an afternoon appointment (after 1:00 pm) with their Faculty Advisor to enroll into classes and understand degree planning.

Students should plan their enrollment sessions after making an appointment with their Faculty Advisor.  Students may contact their Advisor by telephone, sign-up sheet or email to schedule an afternoon enrollment session, after 1:00 p.m.  (see Advisor List)

Current Students

Current Students may enroll on-line through VIKECONNECT, but should do so with a clear understanding of the courses required to complete their degree. It is strongly advised that students only enroll into classes that apply to their degree.

Bring Identification

To verify your identity, students must know their Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and CASC ID#. Student must provide picture ID (i.e. Driver’s License).

Students will be permitted to enroll when no Holds are posted to their record. These Holds will prevent enrollment: Business Office Hold for unpaid tuition/fees, or Admissions Hold for missing documents such as test scores, college transcripts, concurrent enrollment forms.

For a class at CASC to officially “make”, a MINIMUM of 10 students must be enrolled. RARE exceptions may be made if the class is needed for the student’s graduation IN THE CURRENT SEMESTER and IF the class is a requirement for the major and not offered at any other time.”
