Carl Albert State College enrolls veterans and their dependents every semester and provides support to help in every step of the college experience. A dedicated Veterans Affairs Certifying Official is available on a full-time basis at the Poteau Campus (Reed Center, Room 107).

Veterans’ (VA) Benefits

The CASC Veterans Affairs Office serves all veterans and eligible dependents who enroll at the college.This office provides the necessary tools to help eligible students complete the process to receive veterans’ benefits. Students who qualify to receive VA benefits will receive a monthly check from the Veteran’s Administration to cover the cost of education, as well as some living expenses. The amount of each check is determined by the number of dependents claimed (for Chapter 34/30 only), and the number of credit hours enrolled.
