Welcome to Carl Albert State College. In our ongoing effort to provide our students a quality education, we have campuses located in both Poteau and Sallisaw. In addition, we offer numerous online courses and online degrees. You will find that we are very affordable with the lowest tuition in the State of Oklahoma, and our students are the top priority of our excellent staff, faculty and administration.

Whether students are living on campus or commuting, we provide a well-rounded college experience.  We work diligently to prepare our students in their effort to pursue further educational opportunities and/or to enter the work force following completion at Carl Albert.

We serve a wide range of students, including recent high school graduates, adults taking their very first college class or those returning to college, and even high school students taking concurrent classes. We believe in our mission “To provide affordable, accessible, and exceptional education that fosters student success.” Please join us by becoming a student and graduating at Carl Albert State College.
