Welcome to the CASC Radiography Program!

Thank you for your interest in CASC's Radiologic Technology Program.  This is a two-year program that will prepare students to demonstrate entry level skills in radiology technology.  Students are instructed in theory and application in the classroom and the x-ray laboratory
The goal of this program is to provide students with the general academic, technical, and clinical foundations to competently and safely perform radiologic procedures and assume a vital professional role as a medical team member.  Upon successful completion of the program students will earn an Associate in Applied Science in Radiologic Technology degree.  Students are then also eligible to take the national certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (see link at left).  All students who successfully pass this national examination are issued a certificate which gives them the right to use the title "Registered Technologist, Radiography" and use the abbreviation "R.T.(R), ARRT" after their name.  This certification is recognized in all states and the U.S. territories.
