Each student is responsible for their transportation to and from the
clinical sites. |

Students in the first year of the program have the opportunity to gain
clinical experience on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are presented
with theory education which is taught on Mondays, Wednesdays, and
Fridays. Students will receive approximately 16 to 30 hours of
clinical experience per week. |

Students in the second year of the program have the opportunity to gain
clinical experience on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. They are
presented with theory education on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Students will receive approximately 24 hours of clinical experience per
week |
| During
the summer students will not be presented with theory education;
however, they will gain extensive experience through clinical education
on Monday through Thursday. these clinical rotations will include
evening rotations at the listed clinical sites as well as in the Tulsa,
Oklahoma area. |

HEALTH INFORMATION
Each student entering the clinical environment is required to have the
following immunizations and documentation according to Oklahoma state law:
- TB Skin Test Results Yearly
- Tetanus and Diphtheria Every 10 Years
- Rubella
- Rubeola
- Varicella (Chicken Pox)
- Hepatitis B Series of 3
- CPR Certification (Must be the American Heart Assoc.
Adult and Pediatric Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider)
- Criminal Background Check
Students working in this profession will be exposed to radiation. Each
student will be required to wear a film badge. Other potential risks
included exposure to hazards such as body fluids, sharps and body mechanic
injuries.
