The Carl Albert State College Leaders Center

The Carl Albert State College Leader Center Program is designed for outstanding student leaders to continue their leadership skills on the college campus.  Leader Center Participants are selected based on their high school involvement in clubs/organizations, GPA, class rank, and ACT.

The George & Rosemary McBee Leader Center and Kate "Katie" Ollie Leader Center house 80 students, of which 40 are male and 40 are female.  Each room in the Leader Center includes the following:

Scholarship Students selected for the Leader Center receive from the Development Foundation and CASC a scholarship package valued at a $700 per academic year ($350 Fall, $350 Spring) for educational expenses.

Students selected for the Leader Center should apply for state and/or federal assistance programs since they may be eligible for such in addition to the Leader Center scholarship.  The financial aid packet will be available in the CASC Financial Aid Office in January.

Continuance in the program depends upon maintaining the Leader Center scholarship renewal requirements.

Qualifications/Applications

A student may apply for the Leader Center by completing the Leader Center Section on the CASC Housing Application which is available in hard copy format at the Office for Student Affairs or as a pdf file on this web site.
