What does my computer need to run CASC WebCT without problems?

  1. Make sure the Java Runtime Environment is installed correctly and to the most updated version.
  2. Make sure all pop-up blockers are disabled or uninstalled. Most web toolbars that are third party software installations will have a pop-up blocker build in. Here are some examples:
    • Google Toolbar
    • Yahoo Toolbar
    • My Web Searchbar
    • View Point
    • MySpace Toolbar
    • Ebay Toolbar
  3. Make sure all Malware, Spyware, and Adware is uninstalled from your computer. A few of these that regularly disable WebCT usage are:
    • Starware
    • Spyware Doctor
