Carl Albert State College Hosting Evening Enrollment on Tuesday, January 14 for Spring Semester

Carl Albert State College will be open this Tuesday evening to allow students to enroll for the spring semester at both the Poteau and Sallisaw campuses.  Jay Falkner, CASC Director of Enrollment and Retention stated, “We know for some people it might be hard to find time during the day to take care of enrolling for classes. Therefore we are going to remain open this Tuesday, January 14 until 7:30 p.m. to provide individual assistance to anyone needing to get ready for the spring semester.”

Offices at both campuses that will be open include admissions, enrollment, financial aid, housing, the business office and the bookstore during the extended hours on Tuesday evening.

Falkner continued, “If there are students who need to call us for help in enrolling, we will have people answering calls until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night as well. Obviously if students can find time to enroll during the day, we are open at both sites Monday through Friday, but with the Tuesday evening extended enrollment time period, we are hopeful this will be helpful to those who can’t get by during the day.”

The campus in Poteau is located at 1507 S. McKenna and in Sallisaw at 1601 Opdyke.  CASC classes for the spring semester begin Wednesday, January 15. Falkner concluded, “We will even hand out free T-Shirts for anyone enrolling Tuesday night between 4:30 and 7:30 at Poteau and Sallisaw Campuses as our thanks to students for making the effort to enroll during our extended hours.”
