Carl Albert State College Invites Area High Schools to Celebrate Black History Month

Rodney Shepard will be the guest speaker at Carl Albert State College on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in celebration of Black History Month.  All area high schools are invited to attend and should RSVP by calling 918-647-1371 by February 20, 2015.

Shepard serves as President and CEO of Arvest Bank in Fort Smith. He earned an associate’s degree from Carl Albert State College, a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State university and a master’s degree from Webster University.  He continued his education by graduating from the Mid South School of Banking and completing the ABA Commercial Lending School, and Graduate School of Banking program at Louisiana State University. Carl Albert State College has honored him as a Distinguished Alumnus.

The program will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hamilton Auditorium on the Poteau campus of Carl Albert.
