Carl Albert State College Rolls Out Shop Locally Partnership

Carl Albert State College Rolls Out Shop Locally Partnership

Heavenly De-Lite was the first in town to display a Carl Albert State College partner logo in their business window. The College has rolled out a plan to encourage CASC students to shop locally, and area businesses are signing up to participate.

Carl Albert State College Associate VP for Student Life, Randy Graves, explained that with this partnership the College will provide students a list of all the businesses participating along with the promotion or discount offered by each business.  The partner list will also be posted on the CASC website and sent out on CASC social media.  The College will provide each business partner a window logo showing they are supporting the project.  A current Carl Albert State College ID will be necessary to take advantage of promotions and discounts.  Heavenly De-Lite is offering a 10% discount.

Anyone wanting to partner with the College’s shop locally program can contact Graves at 918-647-1370 or Jennifer Humphreys at 918-647-1270.

Carl Albert State College staff and students began distributing window logos and will continue to do so as new partners sign up for the program.  Pictured are Karen Wages – Executive Director of the Poteau Chamber of Commerce, Garrett Spradley – CASC student, Dawana Peterson – Heavenly De-Lite, Randy Graves – CASC Associate VP for Student Life, Trish Payne – Heavenly De-Lite, Mark Baze – CASC student, Blakely Palafox – CASC student, Garrett Tinsley – CASC student, and Jeff Shockley – Poteau City Mayor.
