Carl Albert State College SGA Members Attend Leadership Retreat

Members of the Carl Albert State College Student Government Association attended the 2013 Oklahoma Student Leadership Retreat in Norman. The event was hosted by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, the Council on Student Affairs, Oklahoma Student Government Association, and the Oklahoma Student Advisory Board. The theme was “Becoming Agents of Change” and covered topics such as cultural competence, habits of effective people, social change, leadership, and student substance abuse issues.

 FeiFei Zeng, a member of the Carl Albert SGA, explained that Carl Albert’s Student Government Association is a representative organization whose members are elected from the CASC student body. SGA offers opportunities for development of cooperative effort, initiative, and leadership for CASC students.
