CASC Administrators Attend Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine Dedication

Carl Albert State College President Jay Falkner attended the dedication and ribbon cutting of the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACHE) in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Saturday, August 20, 2016.  CASC Vice President for Academic Affairs Jason Morrison attend along with President Falkner.

The keynote speaker fIMG_1617aor the event was Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.  The Arkansas Governor shared that ACHE is addressing a priority need by producing more doctors for the region.

U.S. Senator John Boozman of Arkansas was quoted in a local media interview that the new college will “do a lot” in the way of improving quality of life and giving individuals and businesses a reason to live or locate in the area.

President Falkner stated he sees the new medical school as a real benefit for the entire region that includes those served by Carl Albert State College.
