CASC Leadership Summit Scheduled for February 27th

Carl Albert State College’s Leadership Summit is scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2017.  The summit is for high school students and will be from 9 a.m. until noon at the CASC Poteau campus.

CASC recruiter Haley Kozderka stated, “We have invited area high schools to bring students that are leaders in their schools and/or communities to participate in this event.   This is a free leadership workshop that will feature activities, interactive presentations, as well as a keynote speaker.”

CASC Vice President for Enrollment Jennifer Humphreys shared, “We are excited to help prepare students for their respective leadership roles and empower them to take risks and pursue their dreams.  The visiting students will hear from leaders at CASC including Phi Theta Kappa members, Viking Ambassadors, and members of NASNTI.”   She continued, “We are pleased to have James Smith as our keynote speaker for the event, and feel this summit will be a wonderful opportunity for high school students.”
