Clark Austin – Success at Carl Albert State College

Clark Austin just graduated from Carl Albert State College this May with a pre-pharmacy major.  The son of Jack and Philisha Austin, Clark came to Carl Albert from Talihina. He plans to transfer to Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the fall.

Austin talked about his time at Carl Albert, “I made highest honors for graduation and I’m in the Scholars Program. I have enjoyed life on the small campus of Carl Albert.  I spent most of my free time at the BCM and playing volleyball at the Vike House.”

In addition to the Scholars Program, Austin has been in Phi Theta Kappa, Native American Association, Intramural Sports, and the Vikes Club.

He concluded, “Carl Albert is very affordable while having extremely nice facilities. The close student/teach relationships have help tremendously. It has been some of the best years of my life!   If looking for a quality education and a great time in the process, consider Carl Albert State College.”
