Donna Wilson, Ph.D., presented “Getting the Best from Your Brain” at the President’s Leadership Class at Carl Albert State College.

A Carl Albert State College alumnus, Dr. Wilson is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who serves as academic team leader and president of the Center for Innovative Education and Prevention, BrainSMART, and 21st Century Skills.  She is a public speaker and author who travels the globe presenting at various conferences and events to hundreds of thousands of students as well as to business and college personnel.

Dr. Wilson noted she was in the Poteau area because she has family and lifelong friends in LeFlore County.  Her niece, Cortney Smith, works in the Carl Albert State College Enrollment Center and assisted in scheduling Dr. Wilson’s time at Carl Albert State College.  CASC Associate VP of Enrollment Management Jay Falkner introduced Dr. Wilson to those in attendance including students, community members, and several CASC employees.
