Kreg Ryan Haney – Student Success at Carl Albert State College
Kreg Ryan Haney is a Poteau High graduate, just graduated from Carl Albert State College with a Business Administration degree, and now plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in Management through Oklahoma State University’s Spear’s School of Online Business. He also plans to one day add a MBA to his educational accomplishments.
The son of George and Misty Haney, Kreg is definitely a home town guy and has been working toward his career objective since high school when he went to work at The Community State Bank. “I have worked at the bank while in high school and college, and plan to continue there while earning additional degrees. I am committed to this community, and in addition to work and college, I just completed the Leadership Leflore County program.” He continued, “My fiancé, Julia Bullard, and I have purchased a home in Poteau and will be married this June.”
When asked about who influenced him the most at CASC, Kreg stated, “Hali Repass has been a fantastic advisor and instructor for me at Carl Albert. Her classes have been some of the most challenging, but rewarding I have ever completed. She has guided and advised me through these first two years of college, and has always been available if I needed assistance.”
“While at CASC I was honored to take part in the Scholar’s program, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Native American Club. Kreg continued, “Spending my first two years at Carl Albert State College was one of the best decisions I ever made. If you are looking for somewhere away from home, but close to home, CASC is the college for you! It has been such a blessing to be able to pursue my career goals and educational goals at the same time. I couldn’t have without CASC.”
