Pansy Kidd Honor Students Visit Carl Albert State College

A total of 66 students from Pansy Kidd Middle School visited Carl Albert State College on April 1.  The students toured the campus, gathered information about college life, and finished their day on campus by having lunch at the campus cafeteria.  While on campus, the group was entertained by the New Horizon Show Choir. The middle school students in attendance are members of the National Junior Honor Society.

CASC Recruiter Aaron Emberton led the event and was assisted by members of the Viking Ambassadors.  In addition, Annette Staats and Marsha Caughern were on hand representing Educational Talent Search and Phi Theta Kappa.

Emberton stated, “We are always excited for the opportunity to showcase Carl Albert State College to younger students.  It is important the students in our immediate area understand the importance of higher education and how Carl Albert State College is right at their back door ready to partner with them in their education.”
