Pumpkin Carving Contest Results at Carl Albert State College

 The libraries of Carl Albert State College hosted a Pumpkin Carving Contest and named winners from each campus on October 31st.

The Poteau campus had 26 entries in the contest. The group winner was the CASC Cheerleaders with their “Vike” pumpkin. The first place individual award went to students Sarah Gibbens and Ryan Cunningham with “The Good Guy Doll – Chuckie.”   The runner up in the individual competition went to student Lauryn Purdy with “Gumball Machine.”

The Sallisaw campus had 6 entries this year. The first place group award went to the Sallisaw CASC Business Office/Bookstore – Gina Risley.   First place individual went to Heather Buchanan, and second place individual went to Bridget Black.

Terri Carroll, Director of CASC Libraries, expressed thanks on behalf of both libraries to everyone who helped make the event successful.
