Regents Scholarship Recipients Announced at Carl Albert State College
Carl Albert State College has named ten incoming students to be Carl Albert State College Regents Scholarship recipients.
This program provides selected students with new Tablet PCs and $1000 per year in loaned college textbooks. While at Carl Albert, recipients of the Regents Scholarship participate as members of the prestigious CASC President’s Leadership Class. College President Garry M. Ivey stated, “The Board of Regents established these scholarships to help top students with textbook and technology costs. These students were very successful in high school, and that success now pays off in scholarship awards. We look forward to having this group of students at Carl Albert.”
The students selected have an ACT score of at least 24 and a minimum 3.5 grade point average. The recipients are members of the CASC Scholars Program where they receive on-campus housing, waived tuition, and a portion of meal costs.
