Ron Lawson was recently reappointed as a Regent on the Carl Albert State College Board.
Lawson has been a CASC Regent since 1995, and served as the chairman in 2015-2016. With Governor Fallin’s reappointment of Lawson, his new seven year term extends until 2023.
Lawson is an attorney in Spiro. In 1977 he earned a master’s degree from East Central State University, and is a 1981 graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Law. He is a member of the LeFlore County and Oklahoma Bar Associations.
Lawson has served on the Spiro Chamber of Commerce, the Spiro School Foundation for Excellence, and the advisory committee for the Kiamichi Technology Center in Spiro. He is a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Fort Smith, and has served several years on the Vestry.
