Teddi Meek – CASC Student Success
Teddi Meek of Sallisaw just completed the course work at Carl Albert State College to become a registered nurse. She is the daughter of Leon and Ann Meek, and looks forward to working at one of the hospitals in the area. She received the Florence Nightingale Award in recognition of excellence as the Outstanding Nursing Graduate at the recent nurses pinning ceremony.
As a CASC graduate, Teddi explained, “The whole nursing program was an incredible and unforgettable experience. I have laughed, cried and made amazing friends.” She continued, “All the CASC instructors have been great, but I certainly extend a huge thank you to the nursing instructors for their patience and help.”
“Carl Albert State College is a great school to attend. It is affordable, and the instructors are supportive regardless if students are transferring to continue their education, or going straight to work. Teddi concluded, “I did not have any experience or guidance when I decided to go back to school. Faculty and staff at CASC made the experience easy and stress free for me. Carl Albert State College is definitely a college for all ages. I recommend Carl Albert to anyone deciding where to go to college.”
