The 6th Annual CASC Harvest Carnival

The 6th Annual CASC Harvest Carnival

The 6th Annual Carl Albert State College Harvest Carnival was Tuesday, October 6, 2015. The festivities were from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mick Thompson Fieldhouse on the Poteau campus.

Hosted by the President’s Leadership Class with assistance from the CASC Scholars, athletes and CASC staff, this is an event for special needs students from schools throughout the region. The event includes games, prizes, bounce house, crafts, food, music, face painting, and much more.

According to CASC Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management Jay Falkner, “This year we had our largest number of students to ever attend this fantastic event.  Year after year our leadership students come through in making this a great day at Carl Albert.” Jennifer Humphreys, CASC Enrollment and Retention Specialist stated, “We had well over 200 in attendance. This would not be possible without the combined efforts of so many to make it a success.”  Falkner and Humphreys work with the leadership class and the Scholars Program at CASC.  Pictured are several CASC baseball players posing with a couple of the special guests at the carnival.
