A group of volunteers from Carl Albert State College helped out at the Poteau High School senior night football game on October 28th.

According to CASC organizer Shara Olive, the CASC crew went to the game ready to take on whatever needed done from concession stand help to tossing free t-shirts to the crowd.

Olive stated, “We wanted to take our Viking Pride to senior night for the Poteau Pirates.  We had a blast, and at the same time helped out one of our valuable partners – the Poteau Public Schools.

CASC President Jay Falkner commended the efforts of the Viking Pride volunteers, “I am proud of this group of CASC employees.  They saw a way to help out one of our partners in the community, volunteered and helped make a difference.”
