Wedding Bells Ring at Carl Albert State College
Crystal Torres and Randy Armstrong decided to get married, and thought what better place to get married than a place they love – and where they both work!
Crystal and Randy’s wedding ceremony was May 11, 2017 at noon at Carl Albert State College in front of the clock tower. The ceremony had everything a wedding usually has including flowers, cake, punch, guests, rings, and even a ring bearer. CASC’s own Vike Albert served as ring bearer, and CASC staff member Shara Olive performed the ceremony.
Olive stated, “I was pleased with the number of staff members who came to support Crystal and Randy at the ceremony, but as Jennifer Humphreys stated, it was Carl Albert State College being a family.” Humphreys added, “We do pride Carl Albert as being a family, and Randy and Crystal are both passionate about being part of the CASC family. People usually have those closest to them at their wedding, and Randy and Crystal wanted their Carl Albert family at theirs.”
Of all the guests at the wedding, none could recall a wedding held at Carl Albert. The Armstrongs will live in Poteau, and because they were married at work, they have the unique opportunity to be at the location of their wedding each day.
