Zeng Found “home away from home” at Carl Albert State College
Feifei Zeng found a “home away from home” at Carl Albert State College from across the globe. A native of Italy, Feifei is an international student graduating this spring from Carl Albert and transferring to Mississippi State University with a full tuition scholarship to major in International Business. She is the daughter of Ji Sen Zeng and Qiu Fang Li.
While attending Carl Albert, she served as the President of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Vice President of Rotaract, was a member of ENACTUS, a Viking Ambassador, and served as a Resident Assistant. Regarding her campus involvement, Zeng explained, “Being involved with student organizations gave me the opportunity to travel to places all over the country including San Jose, CA; Springfield, MO; Orlando, FL and Oklahoma City. I have grown from the experience, and made important connections throughout the process.”
When asked about her experience living in Poteau and attending Carl Albert, Zeng stated, “Here at Carl Albert State College the faculty and staff truly care about the students, they go above and beyond to help the students to achieve their endeavors. Attending CASC was definitely one of the best choices I’ve made. The small classes and personal attention was definitely what I needed to start my college career. My time here provided the skills I will need to be successful when I transfer to a large university.” She concluded, “I am thankful for the opportunity provided to make Carl Albert my home.”
